An advanced letterpress session on makeready, the press-preparation work that gets an even, well-registered impression, taught by Alan Hillesheim and Lisa Rappoport at the San Francisco Center for the Book, 375 Rhode Island Street in Potrero Hill (Muni 22 Fillmore on 16th Street, a block away). It starts at 1 pm on Sunday, Nov 1, and costs $170. It's aimed at people who have already done SFCB's letterpress core classes and want to tighten up their printing.
