Kintsugi Paper Craft with Louise Diskerud
About
Artist Louise Diskerud leads a paper version of kintsugi, the Japanese practice of highlighting mended cracks with gold, at the Eureka Valley/Harvey Milk Memorial branch, 1 Jose Sarria Court off 16th Street (Castro Muni Metro station). It runs 4–5 pm on Friday, Oct 30, for adults; seats are first come, first served, and SFPL doesn't print a price on the listing. It sits well alongside the visible-mending classes (darning, sashiko) on our calendar.
