Kenneth Tan leads a drawing workshop that uses symbolic shapes from Filipino weaving and tattoo art to build flower designs from the center outward, at the Parkside Branch Library, 1200 Taraval Street (L Taraval at 22nd Avenue). It runs 2:30–3:30 pm on Saturday, Oct 24, for teens and adults; reservations are required at the information desk or (415) 355-5770, and SFPL doesn't print a price on the listing. It's one of several Filipino American History Month programs on our October calendar.
