Intro to Water Marbling: Swirling Color Patterns on Wood, Leather and Silk
About
A two-hour session on floating paint on a liquid bath and lifting the swirled patterns onto wood, leather and silk, held at Workshop SF, 1310 Haight Street in the Haight (Muni 7 Haight-Noriega or 43 Masonic stop nearby). It costs $54 and runs noon–2 pm on Sunday, Oct 18. If you want to go deeper on paper marbling, the SF Center for the Book in Potrero Hill offers longer, pricier marbling workshops.
