Sawmills to Seminary to Open Space

About

A leisurely 3.5-mile docent hike through the history of Bear Creek Redwoods, from Indigenous use through its sawmill, estate and seminary eras to open space, starting with a guided walk through the Alma Cultural Landscape and offering an optional three-mile loop through redwoods and oak woodland. It runs Thursday, November 19, 9 AM–noon, from the Alma Parking Area off Bear Creek Road, Los Gatos (drive/park). Midpen doesn't publish a price on the listing. It is the history-focused counterpart to the preserve's Trees & Friends nature hike on October 27, also on our calendar.
