Signs of Fall
About
Docent naturalists Liz F. and Mike Lohr look for signs of the season, such as fruiting trees, native shrubs and dusky-footed woodrat nests, on a moderately paced 4.25-mile route (about 400 feet of gain, some uneven ground) via the Blue Oak, Dick Bishop and Dusky-footed Woodrat trails. It runs Friday, October 30, 9 AM–noon, from the Pulgas Ridge Parking Area on Edmonds Road, Redwood City (drive/park); dogs are not allowed on this outing. Midpen doesn't publish a price on the listing. Pulgas Ridge's dog-friendly Halloween and Hiking Hounds walk the next day is also on our calendar.
