Docent naturalists lead a moderately paced 5.5-mile hike on the Upper Pete Siemens and Redwood Springs trails, looking at everything from old redwoods to small ferns in the understory, with a snack break halfway. It runs Tuesday, October 27, 9:30 AM–1 PM, from the Alma Parking Area off Bear Creek Road, about a mile from Highway 17 (drive/park). Midpen doesn't publish a price on the listing.
