About
A strenuous 6-mile, 1,000-ft docent-led climb up the Canyon and Bella Vista trails to the summit of Black Mountain, where hikers eat a packed dinner while the sun sets and the full moon rises over the Santa Clara Valley. Sunday Oct 25, 4–8:30 pm from the Monte Bello parking area on Page Mill Rd, 1.5 miles below Skyline Blvd (drive/park; about 35 minutes from I-280). Registration closes Oct 23 and the organiser doesn't publish a price; a repeat runs Tuesday Nov 24 starting at 3 pm.
