A costume paddle on kayaks and stand-up boards, part of a nationwide Witches on Water series, run by Sea Trek at its Alameda base with Ohana Paddle Club and simultaneously in Sausalito; children welcome. Saturday Oct 24: check-in 9 am, on the water 10 am, back around 11:15 for potluck snacks, from Ballena Isle Marina, 1120 Ballena Blvd, Alameda (drive/park) or the Bay Model, 2100 Bridgeway, Sausalito (Golden Gate Ferry to Sausalito). Bring-your-own boards launch for $10; rental prices aren't published, and proceeds support Oakland students' first paddles.
