About
A full-day trip that paddles a group across sheltered bay water from Richmond to Brooks Island, a preserve otherwise closed to the public, then walks a guided 2-mile loop around the island. Saturday Oct 17 and Sunday Oct 18, 9:30 am–3:30 pm, departing Richmond Marina (drive/park); ages 16+, $85 residents / $95 non-residents, registration required. It's the only regular way for the public to set foot on Brooks Island, so it's worth booking early.
