Bay Beats Launch Party

About

SFPL launches its 2026 Bay Beats collection of 150 local albums with an afternoon of Bay Area bands at the Golden Gate Park Bandshell: Spencer Noble (2 p.m.), Frankie Maston (3 p.m.), William Johnston's Extravagant Superband (4 p.m.) and Skip the Needle (5 p.m.), plus food trucks, giveaways and all-ages games. It runs 2–6 p.m. on the Music Concourse, near the N Judah at 9th Ave & Irving. SFPL describes its programs as free; the release doesn't print a separate admission price. Amoeba Music and BFF.fm are partners, making it a good sampler of the local scene.
