Three silent films chosen for their influence on GaHee Park's exhibition Behind the Curtain: Chaplin's The Idle Class (1921), Maya Deren and Alexandr Hackenschmied's Meshes of the Afternoon, and Joan Jonas's Organic Honey's Visual Telepathy (1971), in the Screening Room at YBCA, 701 Mission St (near Montgomery St BART). It starts at 2 pm on Saturday, Oct 24; $15, free for members. It's part of the Through an Open Window series, which closes with The Red Shoes on Oct 31.
