About

MoAD's free second-Saturday community day, sponsored by Kaiser Permanente; the November edition has family art making with teaching artist Nicole Dixon (noon–3 p.m.) and a cat-themed 'Friday the 13th protest' art session with artist Dorian Reid (2–4 p.m.). It runs 11 a.m.–5 p.m. at 685 Mission St at 3rd, on the ground floor of the St. Regis, near Montgomery St BART. Free admission, walk-ins welcome. Note that the main galleries are closed for installation, so come for the activities rather than the exhibitions.
