The museum decorates a spooky gallery and runs a 'Great Pumpkin' scavenger hunt, with costumes encouraged, at the Hiller Aviation Museum, 601 Skyway Rd, San Carlos (San Carlos Caltrain is the nearest station, but it's across Highway 101, so most visitors drive and park). It's on daily Oct 23–31, 10 am–5 pm, included with museum admission (members free); the page doesn't print the admission price. Paint-A-Plane (Oct 24–25), Trunk or Treat (Oct 29) and the Helicopter Pumpkin Drop (Oct 31) all fall inside the run, so one visit can take in several.
