Free Crucible Tour
About
Staff lead a free walk through the Crucible's 56,000-square-foot studio, covering the building's history, the artists who work there and the nonprofit's mission. Remaining dates are Thursday, October 15 (6–8 PM), Saturday, November 7 (4–6 PM) and Thursday, November 19 (6–8 PM) at 1260 7th Street, near West Oakland BART. Space is limited, you must RSVP, and part of the route uses stairs. The tour is a useful way to see the glass, metal and wood shops before spending several hundred dollars on a class.
