An introduction to drawing on location and watercolor basics with Chelsea Ward of Sketchy Notions: the group starts by sketching plants at Tillery Street Plant Co., picks out a small succulent, then heads to the studio to paint it. The workshop runs from noon to 3pm and finishes at The Paper + Craft Pantry, 1023 Springdale Rd, Building 6A. The $189 ticket covers a hand-bound sketchbook, a travel watercolor set, the succulent, a light meal and drinks; it was marked sold out when we checked.
