Send one request with your headcount, date and budget. We come back with options from this list and all-in prices, usually within one business day.
The options
Most Austin team events fall into six formats: games (golf bays, VR, axe throwing, arcades), food and drink (cooking classes, cheese and chocolate tastings, food tours), craft workshops (glass, painting, pottery, candles), escape rooms, scavenger hunts, and outdoor outings on Lady Bird Lake. A few groups run volunteering days and improv workshops.
Prices are per person unless a card says otherwise. Games and escape rooms are the cheapest on this list, about $30–$47 a head; cooking classes and tastings run about $45–$129.

What suits whom

Making something side by side gets people talking without forcing it.
Craft, cooking
Escape rooms, axe throwing and game bars turn the energy into a scoreboard.
Escape rooms, games
Hunts and large venues run many small teams at once; few studios seat more than 40.
Hunts, venues
Pick a format with a personal project and no audience, and check it doesn’t revolve around drinks.
Craft, tastings without alcohol
Several operators bring the activity to your office, so nobody crosses town at 4 pm.
Comes to youMaybe skip it if the only slot is after 6 pm on a weekday, or a third of the team is remote and would get nothing: pick a daytime slot or a format with kits for remote people.
Prices
Starting price per person at the 21 locations that publish one; the typical start is $45.95. 2 of those prices come from a booking site rather than the operator’s own page.

Room fees, tax, gratuity and a “materials fee” can add 20–40% to a headline price. Ask for it in writing.
Thursday and Friday slots in December are usually gone by early November. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are easier.
Who runs them
Mostly independent studios, kitchens and venues, with a few national escape-room and game chains and companies that run hunts or come to your office.

For each listing a person read the operator’s own site or booking page.
