Self-paced Rug Tufting

About

Pick a rug size, trace your design and fill it in with a tufting gun, then staff glue the backing and trim it; most rugs go home the same day, though XL and Mega pieces can take a day or two. Tutugether is in Westfield Southcenter, 2800 Southcenter Mall, Suite 172, Tukwila, open Mon–Sat 10am–9pm and Sun 11am–7pm, with reservations recommended and walk-ins taken when there's room. Prices run from $88 for a 17 x 17 in small rug (2–3 hours) to $298 for a 60 x 60 in Mega rug; the studio recommends age 13+ to tuft on your own.
