Traditional Holiday Wreathmaking Workshop
About
A hands-on session weaving fresh-cut greens and branches onto a reusable 14-inch wire frame, led by local designer Maria, with greens, wire ties and ribbon supplied. This session runs Saturday, November 28 from 10 am to 12:30 pm at Sky Nursery, 18528 Aurora Ave N, Shoreline (RapidRide E Line). The fee is $115 plus tax; space is limited, registration is by phone or in store, and bringing gloves and pruners is suggested. A second session runs the next morning, and a compostable-frame version follows that afternoon.

New to flowers?
Floral and plant workshops cover arranging cut flowers, wreaths and centrepieces, or building a terrarium, kokedama or planted arrangement to take home.
- Seasonal sessions — wreaths in December, centrepieces before Thanksgiving — sell out early.
- Bring a bag or box for the journey home; arrangements travel badly loose.
- Most are a single sitting of one and a half to two and a half hours, with everything supplied.
Taking it home: The same day.
