Clay Play: Thrown Bowls
About
A two-hour taster for people who have never sat at a potter's wheel: an instructor walks you through throwing, you keep one bowl, and the studio trims, fires and glazes it in one of two rotating glazes for pickup about two to three weeks later. Saturday, October 24, 3–5 pm at Reclaim Clay Collective, 800 S Weller St #201, a five-minute walk from International District/Chinatown Station (1 Line). Sliding scale $80-$100-$120, clay, glaze and tools included. A second bowls session is set for November 21.
