Duwamish Hill Preserve Planting

About

A volunteer planting morning at Duwamish Hill Preserve, putting native trees, shrubs and prairie plants such as camas and lupine into the ground after a short site introduction, with restoration staff on hand for questions. It wraps up with snacks and a guest talk on open-space river corridors, and tools, gloves and drinks are provided; all ages are welcome, so dress in warm, dry layers. Friday, December 4, 10am–1pm, at 3800 S 115th St, Tukwila (Metro Route 124 serves the area near Tukwila International Blvd Station); follow signs from the parking lot to the tents. Preregistration is required, and the listing doesn't publish a cost.
