Longfellow Creek Cleanup and Restoration Day
About
An annual work party to clear litter from and restore the banks of West Seattle's Longfellow Creek, organized by Puget Soundkeeper with A Cleaner Alki and the Delridge Neighborhood Development Association; volunteers can also watch salmon surveyors examine coho as part of the pre-spawn mortality study. It runs 10am–12pm on Saturday, November 14, meeting at the Dragonfly Pavilion, 4111 26th Ave SW, with supplies and snacks provided. Sign-up is through a registration link, and no cost is listed. It follows the group's Trash or Treat cleanup on the Ship Canal trail in late October.
