Magnuson Reforestation
About
Help rebuild forest habitat in Warren G. Magnuson Park by planting native trees, pulling invasive plants and spreading wood-chip mulch. The group meets 10am–1pm on the north cross-park trail just west of the top of Kite Hill, a quarter-mile walk from the swim beach parking lot (E4). It is free with registration; under high-school age volunteers need the leader's OK unless a parent comes along. Another Magnuson reforestation session is scheduled for 30 October.
