Kingfisher Natural Area Migration Walk

About

Part nature talk, part work party: Dirt Corps explains how wetlands along Thornton Creek serve as rest stops for migrating birds, then volunteers clear morning glory and other invasives around native plants to ready the site for spring planting. Meet at the Kingfisher Natural Area entrance, 2003 NE 100th St, for 10am–1pm; gloves, tools, snacks and hot drinks are provided. Free with registration, all ages welcome, and only a couple of spots were left when we checked.
