Forest Restoration on the Jackson Park Trail
About
Volunteers walk the perimeter trail around Jackson Park Golf Course to a work site and spend the session pulling ivy and blackberry, weeding, mulching or planting natives as the season calls for. Meet 10am at the course entrance, 1000 NE 135th St, by the trail kiosk and white leaf sculpture; the work party runs until 2pm. It is a free Green Seattle Partnership event open to all ages (under-18s without a guardian need a signed waiver), with sign-up on the event page.
