Beyond Alki
About
The Southwest Seattle Historical Society's new exhibit looks past Alki Beach's own history to stories from communities across the Duwamish Peninsula, with artifacts such as the recently acquired Rolf Neslund Memorial Shrine bust and interactive pieces including a listening station of music from West Seattle's past. On view during museum hours — Thursdays and Fridays noon–4 pm, Saturdays 10 am–4 pm — at the Log House Museum, 3003 61st Ave SW near Alki, served by King County Metro Route 50. The museum doesn't publish an admission price on the listing.
