University District Farmers Market
About
Seattle's year-round, farm-and-food-only market sets up on University Way NE between NE 50th and 52nd streets every Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm, with farmers and food artisans filling more than 80 booths at peak season. The U District light rail station (1 Line) is about two blocks away. Entry is open to all; EBT/SNAP is accepted at the Market Manager booth with a dollar-for-dollar SNAP match, and WIC, Senior FMNP and Fresh Bucks are taken by participating vendors. On October 31 the market hosts an Applelooza apple tasting, and a Husky Culinary Club chef demo follows on November 7.
