Archaeology Family Day

About

A day of hands-on archaeology for all ages: meet working archaeologists and researchers, sort artifacts and identify animal bones at activity tables, watch a flintknapper make stone tools, and learn about ancient technologies and local heritage. A Fossil Finders booth on Floor 3 compares archaeology with paleontology and hands out November passport stamps. Sunday, November 15, 10am–5pm at the Burke Museum, 4303 Memorial Way NE, near U District Station (1 Line); included with admission (amount not listed) and free for members.
