Lichen Walk
About
Dr. Katherine Glew leads a winter walk around the garden to identify lichens growing on trees, rocks and structures and explain how they signal air quality and ecosystem health; participants take home an identification guide. It runs 10am–12pm on Friday, December 4 at Bellevue Botanical Garden, 12001 Main St, roughly 15 minutes on foot from Wilburton Station (2 Line). Tickets are listed at $28–$40. An earlier session runs November 4, and the garden's Garden d'Lights display is open the same evening.
