Arboretum Lichens
About
A repeat of the arboretum's lichen class with Katherine Glew, Ph.D., curatorial associate for lichens at the Burke Museum's UW Herbarium: learn to spot the lichens common around Seattle and read them as clues to air quality and geology, then take home a chart of species found near where you live. Sunday, November 22, 10 am–12 pm at Washington Park Arboretum, 2300 Arboretum Dr E, on King County Metro routes 43 and 48. $45; limited financial-aid slots are first come, first served. The first session ran October 31.
