Mushroom Walk: Fungi of the Bbg and Lost Meadow Trail
About
Mushroom educator Daniel Winkler leads a fall foray through the garden and along the Lost Meadow Trail, pointing out the fungi growing there, including mycorrhizal species that trade nutrients with the plants around them. It runs 11am–1pm on Thursday, November 19 at Bellevue Botanical Garden, 12001 Main St, roughly 15 minutes on foot from Wilburton Station (2 Line). Tickets are listed at $35–$50. The garden's Audubon bird walk takes place earlier that morning.
