Lichen Walk
About
A guided stroll through the garden with lichenologist Dr. Katherine Glew, learning to recognize common urban lichens and what their presence says about air quality, forest health and a changing climate. It runs 10am–12pm on Wednesday, November 4 on the grounds of Bellevue Botanical Garden, 12001 Main St, about a 15-minute walk from Wilburton Station on the 2 Line. Tickets are listed at $28–$40. Dr. Glew leads a second walk on December 4, and a mushroom walk at the garden follows on November 19.
