Saturday Afternoon Market History Tour
About
A 90-minute walking tour run by the nonprofit Friends of the Market and led by its board members and volunteers, covering Pike Place Market's history, public art and back passageways as well as its main arcades. Tours meet at 1:50pm under the Public Market Center clock and sign at the Pike Street entrance (85 Pike St, near Westlake Station, 1 Line) and run Saturdays 2–3:30pm through October 31. Tickets are $18 adults, $12 seniors 65+, $10 children 6–12 and free under 6; book ahead, as groups are capped at 10 and tickets are non-refundable. Cobblestones and steep blocks make the route moderately challenging for wheelchairs.
