First Thursday Art Walk

About

On the first Thursday of every month, galleries, studios and businesses across Pioneer Square open their doors for a free, self-guided evening of art with no single organizer; November 5's lineup includes Darrell Peterson at Gray Sky Gallery, John Buck and Ed Wickland at Greg Kucera, Tony Angell at Foster/White and a hologram show at Hologram Gallery. Galleries start opening around 5 pm and many close their shows by 8, with a few staying open later; check each venue for hours. Pioneer Square Station (1 Line) is in the middle of it, and free 5–10 pm parking is offered at the Frye Garage and 450 Alaskan with a voucher from a participating venue. Upcoming dates include November 5 and December 3.
