Fall 2026 Public Exhibitions Reception

About

The Frye's free evening party opening its fall shows: An Indigenous Present, a century-spanning survey of contemporary Indigenous art making its only West Coast stop here; My Body Is a Basket, with three Pacific Northwest artists stretching textile traditions; and a new Boren Banner Series work by Seattle artist Blake Blanco. Friday, November 6, 7:30–9 pm at 704 Terry Ave on First Hill, near the First Hill Streetcar (Broadway & Terrace) and Metro routes 3/4 on James St. Free, but space is limited, so reserve up to four tickets ahead. Artists from My Body Is a Basket return for a panel the next afternoon.
