Bandsaw Box
About
A full-day woodshop class making a box cut from one block on the bandsaw, covering grain, cross and rip cuts, glue-up, sanding and a beeswax finish, along with shop safety. It runs Sunday 6 December, 9am to 4pm, at the San Diego Craft Collective, 2590 Truxtun Rd, Studio 106, Liberty Station (MTS Route 28 runs along Rosecrans St by Liberty Station), for ages 18+; bring eye and ear protection and an apron. It costs $205, materials included. The collective's Woodworking for Women skills class is the day before, 5 December.
