About
A two-day oil painting workshop modelled on Chardin's kitchen still lifes, painting a set-up of china, copper pots, pottery and produce with a limited palette; Pat Kelly opens each morning with a slideshow and demo, and the class ends with group critiques. It runs Friday and Saturday, 13 and 14 November, 9am to 1:30pm, at the Athenaeum's La Jolla Art Studio, 1008 Wall St (MTS Route 30 serves La Jolla Village). The fee is $160 for members and $180 for non-members, plus a $5 materials fee paid to the instructor. In December the studio has a three-day still-life class, Seeing the Light in Still Life.
