Celebrate Day of the Dead at Sweetwater Park

About

A bilingual community morning at a newly restored coastal sage scrub site beside Sweetwater Marsh: planting natives for monarch butterflies, a nature walk, birdwatching and community science, run by the San Diego Bird Alliance, the NAT, San Diego Coastkeeper and US Fish & Wildlife. It is Sunday 1 November, 9am to noon, at Sweetwater Park, 1045 Gunpowder Point Dr, Chula Vista; park at 845 E Street and walk the bike path to the site. It is free, with tools, gloves, water and snacks supplied; wear a hat and closed-toe shoes and bring a water bottle. Coastkeeper's next listed field day is Mission Bay water-quality sampling on 21 November.
