Alterations: 4-week Series
About
Over four weekly evenings students learn to alter and repair their own wardrobe, from fitting and hems to denim fixes such as taking in a back waistband and hand-sewn repairs. The series meets Tuesdays Nov 24 and Dec 1, 8 and 15 from 6 to 9pm at Moving Thread LA, 13347 W Washington Blvd in Mar Vista. It costs $550, requires basic machine-sewing skills, and is open to teens 13 and up; bring four to eight garments that need attention.
