Bezel-setting Intensive
About
Students build a bezel, mount it on a ring and set a cabochon stone in it; basic metalwork and soldering knowledge is required and the class tops out at 5. It runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a one-hour lunch, on Sunday, Nov 22 at Community Jewelry Arts in Mid-City, whose address is shared on registration. It costs $225 plus a materials fee collected at the start. The studio's earlier intensives this month cover chains (Nov 1) and hinges (Nov 7).
