Introduction to Tapestry Weaving
About
A two-day frame-loom class with Alexis Zoto: you warp the loom, work through a sampler of tapestry techniques and stitches, play with shape, texture and color, and learn to take the finished piece off the loom. It runs Saturday and Sunday, Nov 21 and 22, 10am to 4pm each day, at LA Tactile Lab, 407 E Pico Blvd #808, downtown. The fee is $350. A floor-loom weaving intensive follows on Dec 5 and 6.
