Modern Dance Figure Drawing
About
An adult drawing workshop where a live modern dancer poses and moves among the works in the Modern Art Galleries while participants sketch, thinking about motion, space and how dance and painting speak to each other. It meets on BCAM Level 3 at LACMA, 5905 Wilshire Blvd, near Metro bus 20 on Wilshire. The class is Friday, Nov 20 from 2 to 4pm and costs $40, or $35 for members. The evening before, LACMA hosts a talk on a century of New Yorker covers.
