Community Jewelry Arts' starter day, where up to 5 students learn to saw, sand and solder metal and leave with a ring they made. It runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a one-hour lunch, on Sunday, Nov 8 at the studio in Mid-City; the exact address comes with registration. The cost is $225 plus a materials fee collected at the start. It's the day after the studio's Hinge Intensive, and the class repeats on Dec 6 and Dec 13.
