Drawing Your Memory Map
About
Artist Jett Allen leads a series of drawing exercises that help you recall a place from your past and sketch it into a memory map, a useful starting point for anyone beginning memoir comics. It runs Sunday, Nov 1 from 11am to 1pm at the Center for the Arts Eagle Rock, 2225 Colorado Blvd (Metro bus 180). The fee is $45 with materials included; ages 13 and up. That afternoon the center holds a family Dia de los Muertos printmaking class.
