Handbuilt Pottery Hanukkah Workshop
About
A four-hour clay session with ceramicist Allison Goodman in which each participant builds a hanukkiah from a thick slab, cutting the candle holes and pressing in stamps and natural textures; the pieces are glazed and kiln-fired afterwards. It runs on the Skirball Cultural Center campus, 2701 N Sepulveda Blvd (Metro bus 761 on Sepulveda; free parking), on Sunday, Oct 25 from noon to 4pm, rescheduled from Oct 11. Tickets are $75 general or $60 for members, including a $25 materials fee, though the page currently lists the class as full.
