Book Making: Sewn Board Binding
About
Bookbinder Heather Peters teaches the sewn board binding devised by Gary Frost, a lay-flat structure well suited to sketchbooks and journals: you sew the text block, attach the cover and personalize covers and endsheets with decorative papers. The six-hour class runs Sunday, Oct 25 from 10am to 4pm at the International Printing Museum, 315 W Torrance Blvd, Carson. Materials are included and no binding experience is needed; ages 18 and up, no refunds. The Eventbrite page doesn't show the price.
