A two-day workshop with Okinawan-Japanese ceramicist and educator Dane Hiʻipoi Nakama on the history of Japanese ghost paintings and prints, in which each student practices traditional ink-painting techniques and completes a master copy of a supernatural figure to take home on day two. It meets Saturday, Oct 24 and Sunday, Oct 25, starting at 10am both days, at POT Studios, 3228 W Jefferson Blvd in West Adams. The fee is $90 for both days; the listing currently shows it as sold out.
