Trail Work Day: Forest Trail
About
A volunteer trail-maintenance day with the Santa Monica Mountains Trails Council, working on the Forest Trail toward Lake Vista in Malibu Creek State Park. Volunteers meet at the Reagan Ranch lot near Mulholland and Cornell and shuttle into Malibu Creek State Park. Work runs from 8am to 2pm on Saturday, Dec 12; bring work gloves, long sleeves and pants, a hat, sturdy closed-toe shoes, lunch and at least two quarts of water, and expect to sign a liability waiver at the trailhead. RSVP by calling the day's leader listed on the SMMTC schedule; the schedule lists no fee. The crew also works this trail on Dec 5.
