Los Angeles Audubon Bird Walk
About
Leaders Ann and Eric Brooks guide a morning bird walk through the Baldwin Hills, covering landscaped parkland, a man-made creek and lake, and patches of native coastal sage scrub where towhees, Cassin's Kingbirds, Black Phoebes and several hawk species live year-round. It runs 8am to noon; check in at the entrance kiosk off La Cienega Blvd (4100 S La Cienega Blvd) for the meeting spot, and binoculars are provided. Los Angeles Audubon doesn't list a fee for the walk itself; the park charges a $7.00 parking fee at the kiosk. The next walk here is Dec 13.
