About

Consulting arborist Alison Lancaster walks the Theodore Payne grounds and assesses several oaks on site, talking through drought watering, structural risk, pruning young versus mature trees, helpful and harmful insects and common diseases; bring photos and questions about your own oaks. It is part of the foundation's Oak-tober series and runs Saturday, Oct 24 from 1 to 3pm at the Theodore Payne Foundation, 10459 Tuxford St, Sun Valley. Registration is through Humanitix, and the listing doesn't publish a price. In November the foundation runs a seed propagation class and an Obi Kaufmann book talk.
